León Ara has extensively cultivated chamber music together with the pianists Gerardo Gombáu, Eugène de Canck, Jean Claude van den Eynden, Miguel Zanetti, Rosa Sabater, between 1960 and 1962, José Tordesillas with whom he formed a duo from 1972 until 1996, Graham Jackson, Albert Attenelle and at present with Alfredo Oyaguez.
